From the mailbag:
The NIA Summer Training Course in Experimental Aging Research provides intensive exposure to modern experimental biogerontology for a group of 15 to 20 research scientists and is designed primarily for junior faculty members and advanced postdoctoral fellows who have had at least two years of postdoctoral research experience in some aspect of cell or molecular biology. Senior scientists who wish to become familiar with modern biogerontology are also welcome to apply. This year’s course will be hosted by the Barshop Institute, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and will be held at the Drury Inn Plaza Hotel on the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio, Texas, June 16-21, 2007.
